
Emily was convinced that today was "Recipe Day", and since we had some rain, it seemed like a perfect day to try out some homemade play dough! You can find the recipe we used
here. We made ours in pinks, reds, and golden yellow colors so Mark could help Emily make some pretend hot dogs and french fries.

I think they turned out quite lovely!

Emily wanted to dress the part, so I made her a little paper hat, and she made up a "Hot Dogs $1" sign. She pretended to sell us hot dogs for a long while... and then......

She started a pizza shop!!

That is STINKIN' CUTE! I love it. I love homemade playdough. I love putting essential oils in it to make it smell yummy. I love her hotdogs too... what a great rainy day activity!
