Thrift Store Finds - Fabric Galore!

Oh, I have big plans for this pile of fabric found in the form of sheets and pillowcases at our local thrift store. The color theme for this weekend was pale yellow, light sage green, peach, and tan. I scored the entire set for just $11.00!

I love that this baby girl was almost as excited as I was!

I am curious too! By the way, I found a pack of 100 post it type star notes and 100 heart notes for 50 cents and I am planning a photo shoot!

Awe-SOME! Can't wait to see what you do with them!

I whipped up a doll sling (well, a stuffed bear and cat sling) for my little one today using fabric reminants. (See it here.) She isn't quite sure about it yet and it isn't perfect, but I got a kick out of it. :>)

Hi Valerie

Oh the possbilities and with your creative genius I can only imagine what you'll come up with.

The basket of the freshly picked peaches looks so appealing, I bet it smelt good too. I hope Mark used some of them to make his peach ice cream.

What a blessing you and Emily are to the residents that received your vibrant handmade flowers. That is my kind of craft - crafting and making a difference. You would have made so many people's day memorable and special by this act of kindness.

Ice castle sculptures - now that has to be one of the sweetest and best ways to beat the heat.

Oh, the post it note photo shoot was awesome. Fun, fun, fun!

Stopping by your blog is always so inspiring.

@ Lenetta -- I love the sling you made... what a great idea! I would have never thought of that.

@ Val in the Rose Garden -- I've never tried quilting, and I'm not sure why, but no... no quilting for this fabric. Although, I'm sure that would be lovely!

@ Katie -- You're so lucky! I've been trying to find vintage sheets and pillowcases for soooo long now. Maybe your thrift store is hoarding them all! ;-)

You're so lucky, I still haven't found any decent thrift stores in my area. I live in northern NJ by the way if anyone can tip me!
