Intro to Our Inspiration Wire

This afternoon was spent browsing through magazines and websites. There was a lot of clipping and printing of photos...

...and Emily learned all about the word "inspiration" and what it means to be inspired. One small problem -- she kept calling me over to say that this photo really "expired" her. Which... is not exactly the same. Ahem.

Anyhoo... all this browsing and cutting was to update our inspiration wire! If you don't already have an inspiration wire in your household, I highly recommend creating one.

Ahhh... bliss! More about what is on our inspiration wire coming soon! If you have one, please share what's on yours.

What a great vocabulary teaching tool. I am expired I mean inspired just looking at it.

I can't wait to hear more about it. WE don't have one, and I have never even heard of it.

I've never heard of an inspiration wire, but it sure looks beautiful. The last photo especially looked like it could be in one of Emily's magazines.

such a beautiful project to do with your children, we have a new art studio near our home and my children are learning about finding inspiration through others, nature and ourselves. It is a beautiful thing!

I love finding "expiring" things too :) Except I never thought of putting them on a wire. I put my daughter's art on our "art" wires. Looks like I'll need to go make and inspiration wire next.

@ Heather -- Thanks so much for voting for us!!

@ gardenmama -- You are so fortunate to have an art studio near your home. I'm so happy to hear you and the kids are taking full advantage of it! How wonderful!

@ the girl who painted trees -- Yes, yes I think an art wire, an inspiration wire, and a gratitude wire should be in every household. Besides, they are so much fun to do!

I can't speak for Emily, but I frequently feel expired!

I have an inspiration board, but for goals rather than creative endeavors.
