Adventures in Baking -- Cornbread

Emily and I made cornbread to go with chili for dinner, and it was delicious, fun, and frugal!

We followed the recipe on the back of the bag of Bob's Red Mill Corn Meal found here. It was so simple, even I couldn't screw it up.

Emily had so much fun with this....

...and was a big help with all that stirring!

Special thanks to Gardenmama for her inspiring post.
Have fun!!

Dear Valerie,

This corn bread is tasty and all... but you guys make SO MANY CRUMBS WITH IT. I had to get out the vacuum cleaner to take care of the high chair, and I had to question whether or not Clara had actually eaten any food.

Love,
Mark

That looks SO good! My friend Kristan made chili today while I was there, and I have plans to make some tomorrow. This will be the perfect side dish! Yum. :)

Chili and cornbread are delicious together - well worth the crumbs in my opinion ;)
