Cute Marshmallow Snowman

I have been wanting to make marshmallow snowmen with Emily for some time now, and when I mentioned it to her, she instantly adored the idea of making a snowman out of marshmallows!

We used jumbo marshmallows and pretzel rods. Push three marshmallows through one end of the pretzel rod, and stack them together to make your snowman.

Add pretzel stick arms. Emily made hers wave to the camera.

Use writing icing for the eyes, mouth, and buttons.

Attach a chocolate kiss with some more icing for the snowman's hat.

Oh, dear! It wasn't long before our cute marshmallow snowman became a scary headless snowman! Ahhhh!!!

Enjoy and have fun!

Somehow I am not surprised about what happened to a snowman. What surprised me is that he actually got assembled fully. Somehow I don't quite see it happening here :)

Ohhh what an excellent idea, might have to do this with my lad, I appear to live in the one part of the UK that hasn't been hit with the heavy snow :-((((

Mind saying that, I bought him a marshmellow snowman from the bakery the other day and he just walked around with all day refusing to eat it lol.

My nieces came over and we made the snowmen too - yours turned out much cuter then ours:) But we had fun too.

I think i will do this for our new years eve "mini kid" party for the girls. I will have to make them in advance because they will never be constructed with my little marshmallow monsters around. Happy New Year

So simple and so cute. Working with marshmallows would be very dangerous for me - I don't think many snowmen would get constructed, but I would be sure to fill a marshmallow craving.

Happy new year to you and your beautiful family. I look forward to following your inspiring, fabulous blog in 2010.

Fantastic! We're having a cookie decorating party next weekend, and I'll keep some marshmallows and pretzel rods on hand in case we have way more guests than have RSVPed!
