Emily helped me hang some leftover wrapping paper up on the wall, and we used white blankets and pillows for "snow" on the floor. I covered some sofa cushions with a white blanket for a table. It was perfect!
Then, we snacked on white food (white bread, cheese, and some marshmallows - yum!).
Time for some hot cocoa!

Dear Valerie,
WHITE BREAD? In OUR house?
*faints*
Love,
Mark
LOL... I was thinking, "hmmm? I'm surprised they eat white bread." LOL... but now that I think about it, was it the whole grain white?
Neat idea. Now you have me thinking about what other white foods one could have at a snow picnic. White chocolate. Maybe bananas... well, maybe not. IDK.
Very cute - I bet the girls really did love it - it's been to long since we've had an indoor picnic - thanks for the reminder!
This is such a great and fun idea! :)
A meal of white- hmmmm- that is very often what my eldest eats...
Her favorite food groups- "white" and "yellow"!
Fun, fun, fun!
Clara is getting so big. I love seeing how your girls are growing.
@ Mark -- Yup! Tasty white bread WAS in our house. It never lasts long.
@ Petula -- Yes, it's actually whole grain white bread! How did you know??? Just don't tell Mark. See above. BTW, I LOVE the white chocolate idea!!
@ Wonder Mom -- Oh my goodness, that is so funny!!
I am SO not seeing my husband taking it lightly. He is German - enough said :)
Oh that looks like so much fun! Being of Scandinavian decent many of my favourite comfort foods are all white, or at least beige.
What a cosy and yummy way to spend an afternoon indoors.
i love how just a little change of scenery makes the same old same old seem new and exciting!
So cute. You could make white hot chocolate too!
What a fun Mom you are! Thanks for all the inspiration.
What a great way to celebrate a cold snowy day! The girls look like they are having a blast =)
Your the coolest mom in the world!
They will have such beautiful memories.
We love picnics. We need to do one of these b/c of the snow, snow, snow outside our window! Thanks for the idea.
You are on a roll - this is a great activity for the winter!
What a cute idea!
Im hosting a valentines craft party on 2/1, Id love it if you stop by with one of your awesome projects!
Oh we have a snow themed post coming up, this would be so fun to add on ABC & 123. I will try super duper hard to remember to come by and pick this up, but it would be fabulous if you'd kindly do me a favor and email me a link to abc123learning@gmail.com. Cause between dealing with arranging travel plans to get to the visitation for Brad's Grandpa and traveling to Missouri this week, it might slip my mind.
I go away for a week and come back to see Clara walking, eating plates of food as big as mine ... she's growing up so fast!
